Review week 6!

What is the pen tool used for?

- The pen tool, is used for making, or tracing a design, like texture, or shapes.

How can you manipulate a path/line in Illustrator? Discuss the use of the white arrow tool, pen+, pen-, and convert too.

You can manipulate a line, by using the white arrow tool, this tool is to curve lines, and or shapes. Pen + tool is to as the same pen you just wrote, again, the pen - is to subract one of the tools.

How can you utilize the layers palette in Illustrator?
- When making a design, you use the layers paltette, which means everytime, you have a new layer, you click on the layers p to lock the image in place so that way you can trace ovder it with the pen tool, without making any mistakes or errors.

 

How do you create a clipping mask in Adobe Illustrator?

 - the way you create a clipping mask on Adobe Illustrator is by using your rectangle shape tool, and cut the image the way you want to cute, and the extact shape, then you use your black arrow and go over it, then go to object, click clipping mask, and then click make, to crop your image.

Review week 5!

For each of the 5 elements of design (shape, line, texture, space, value), find an example that utilizes each element within the design (Google search for poster design, advertisements, etc). You should have 5 DIFFERENT sample designs. 

For each, evaluate the design in 4 to 5 sentences. Label each with the appropriate element. Then, discuss how that particular element is used and how it enhances the design. 

 

 

 

   SHAPE: The way this design works with shapes, is because the way

the object if being proposed is with color, and the way of its shape. The meaning of shapes, are to let people know to let all the different things of different shapes. Many people find it frustrated when there not working with shapes. shapes makes it a whole lot easier to work with, for example, they can tell you the difference  between what you are trying to look for in an object.

 

 

  LINES: Lines, are very different from shapes, many poeple dont think lines are a shape. Well there wrong. Shapes are everything, but what makes a shape are line, you need lines to make any type of shape. Circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, and many other more. Lines can be just one by itself. you also need lines for typing, and also for drawing and or for designing a house, everything need lines. Everthing, just like eveything needs shapes.
